Person would be responsible for contacting current customers and to develop relationships with new advertising customers to reach station goals. A background in Sales and Business is helpful, but not required. Person must have interest and knowledge of all sports, especially at the high school level, and have the ability to do play-by-play announcing. Attention to detail and desire to succeed are necessary. Position requires ability to travel. R&J Broadcasting, Inc. attended a career fair which was held at the Waubun High School gymnasium. While at the career fair, Sean Bjerk, R & J Broadcasting, Inc. Sales Rep and on-air talent visited with students in grades 11 and 12 about their future plans, described the broadcast business, and also provided employment information IF any future openings regarding R&J Broadcasting Inc.

Jim Birkemeyer visited Radio Class at Northland Community and Technical College. Shared information about radio and the broadcasting career. Answered questions of students about the radio broadcasting industry. Shared with students R & J Broadcasting, Inc. information should any students be interested IF any future job openings within R & J Broadcasting, Inc.

Sean Bjerk, Sales Rep and on-air talent with R&J Broadcasting, Inc. attended a career fair which was hosted at the Shooting Star Casino. While visiting with students from area schools Sean Bjerk provided stations information and informed students on the broadcast industry. Students had the opportunity to look at the information and ask questions regarding R&J Broadcasting Inc.
